Mechatronics is a combination of mechanical engineering, control theory and electronics to design engineering systems. There are several reasons for learning mechatronics: a) Mechatronics is an exciting, high-tech subject that provides an introduction to multiple engineering disciplines. b) Mechatronics teaches how to build and program a robot which is the  ultimate hands-on experience for high school students. This is now known as Electromagnetic Induction  = - d/dt  =  B" dA  = K v0 ",   R Coils of copper wire were wrapped around a plexiglass tube and a toy car was set in motion on a track that goes through the tube. The toy car carries a magnet and the magnetic interaction with the loops of wire generates an induced voltage. This induced voltage is generally small but it can be multiplied by a factor of 10 in the op amplifier and measured in the ADC microprocessor. The velocity is measured using photoresistors and LED s.
